In January of 2011, TJ Williford, organized a small group of investors to purchase the Old Brew Pub building. When Gov. Bentley signed the new Brew Pub Bill into law, this allowed the developers repurpose the building into a variety of mix uses.
We are very proud to announce that Southern Trails will establish 12 Jefferson as its flagship store. They will operate on the half of the first floor and half of the second floor. Southern Trails was an anchor outdoor retailer in Montgomery and Auburn for 30 years. The historic location and beautiful building this decision to move to Downtown Montgomery will position Southern Trails as a regional attraction. This locally owned small business needs your support.
The original freight elevator being removed and reused in the Southern Trails build out. The old duct work is also removed making way for the ductless Variable Refrigerant Flow HVAC System.
This single story stucture on the west side of the property was built in the 1940's. Most recently used as a kitchen, it's being shelled and cored to reveal it's original character.
